Thank you for taking the time to read the FB Management newsletter!
Do you have any cultural practices related to fortune-telling or auspicious beliefs in your region?
In Japan, there are cultural traditions of fortune-telling based on dates and wearing or consuming items considered auspicious for good luck. 😁
Today, let’s talk about these auspicious customs in Japan.
✨Ichiryu Manbai-nichi✨
For example, “One grain, ten thousand-fold day” is read as “ichiryu manbai bi” or “ichiryu manbai nichi” in Japanese. It is a fortunate day in the Japanese calendar, meaning “one grain of rice multiplies ten thousandfold and becomes a splendid ear of rice.”
It’s said that on Ichiryu Manbai-nichi, even small actions can be magnified manifold and come back to us. It’s an auspicious day, perfect for starting something new.
On May 27th and 28th, 2024, there will be consecutive days of Ichiryu Manbai-nichi.

We recommend Fukuyama Kurozu Co., Ltd.!
Fukuyama Kurozu was founded in 2003 in Fukuyama Town, Kagoshima Prefecture, a renowned hub for black vinegar in southwestern Japan. They consistently craft top-notch products using traditional methods and unique fermentation techniques.
The brand name is “Kakuida.” The black vinegar, made from plenty of organic brown rice and aged for 3 to 20 long years, has an exceptional taste that dispels the conventional impression that black vinegar is difficult to drink.
