June 18th is “International Sushi Day.” 😊
It’s a day to celebrate and enjoy the traditional Japanese culinary art of sushi, which is beloved and celebrated around the world.
As Japanese cuisine gains high acclaim worldwide, there is a growing demand for sushi chefs overseas.
Are you currently managing or planning to open a sushi restaurant, despite there being many sushi restaurants around the world?
Do you have any needs like “wanting skilled sushi chefs” or “wanting to train in Japan or have our sushi chefs trained in Japan”?
So, did you know that there is a school in Hokkaido, the home of sushi, where sushi chefs are trained?
Let us introduce you to Masazushi Dojo!
About Masazushi Dojo (Masazushi Sushi Chef Training School)
Masazushi Dojo is a sushi chef training school operated by Otaru Masazushi Co., Ltd., headquartered in Otaru City, Hokkaido in Japan.
Otaru Masazushi is the oldest established sushi restaurant in the area and is renowned as the most famous sushi restaurant in Otaru.
Training for Global Success at Masazushi Dojo
Masazushi Dojo is a sushi chef training school designed for those who aspire to excel as sushi chefs both domestically and internationally.
Through intensive and personalized instruction with a small number of students, even beginners can acquire skills equivalent to a third-year apprentice, capable of handling the “okamase” course (serving customers) with confidence.
Students can learn techniques for sushi making, cooking, sourcing ingredients, and mastering kitchen tools.
Additionally, they provide comprehensive support beyond technical skills, including assistance with job placement after graduation!
