The YouTube channel name, SA SHI SU SE SO (さしすせそ), represents the five tastes of Japan. By incorporating these tastes in balance, dishes become more delicious.
・Sa (Sweetness): Sweetness such as fruits or sugar.
・Shi (Saltiness): The savory taste of salt or soy sauce.
・Su (Sourness): The tanginess of vinegar or lemon.
・Se (Bitterness): The bitterness of certain foods or vegetables.
・So (Umami): The savory taste inherent in ingredients.
On this channel, we will be delivering various content to introduce the charm of Japan’s wonderful food, alcohol, crafts, and more to a wider audience through weekly broadcasts.
